About us

American Polytechnic Institute was founded to provide high quality research and development, education, and training in fields that are vital to the current and future economy. American Polytechnic Institute recognizes and understands the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary nature of technology and industry and the importance of providing students the necessary life-long learning skills, education, and training that can help them successfully engage in rewarding careers.

The founders, two PhDs in physics from American universities, and the faculty of the Institute have had several decades of combined research and development experience at universities, national laboratories, and industry in several disciplines in physics, chemistry, engineering, and related fields. In addition, they also have had a long experience in higher education, teaching both online and on-site, young and professional adults in all areas of the sciences and engineering. Experienced faculty are selected to teach courses in their fields of expertise, thus providing their students with the latest knowledge that will give them an edge in their fields.

The fields of expertise of the founders and other faculty include:

    • Multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research and teaching experience
    • Expertise in the development of curricula and laboratory experiments
    • Expertise in project development, supervision, and management
    • Extensive mentoring of students
    • Extensive experience in research and development in various fields (electrical, chemical, biomedical, and renewable energies engineering, electron optics, plasma physics, solid state physics, superconductivity, spectroscopy, imaging, optics, remote sensing, and instrumentation
    • Extensive experience in systems engineering
    • Extensive experience in mathematical modeling of physical, biomedical, and engineering systems
    • Extensive multidisciplinary teaching experience both online and on-site in various fields:  physics, astronomy, physical sciences, chemical physics, chemistry, earth science, biology, biochemistry, physiology, engineering (electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, mechatronics, biomedical, chemical)
